JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Business Analyst role is responsible for complex requirements gathering and analysis for new and ongoing projects related to the business operations of the Law Society, facilitating project execution with the relevant stakeholders and project manager(s), managing competing priorities, and applying a high degree of professionalism in managing business stakeholders and setting realistic expectations. The role devises new methods and procedures for business groups using strong analytic and inductive thinking and by facilitating the application of new technologies to support existing processes while remaining consistent with the concept of ONE LSO.
The Knowledge and Business Systems Management team has two main goals. The first is to support and enhance business operations through technology changes, acting as a trusted advisor and interface between IT and the business. The second is to enable and facilitate change across all business lines of the LSO in close collaboration with IT and the PMO, by defining goals, validating requirements, providing design recommendations, and offering process solutions that deliver real business value and optimize the use of Ozzie, LSO Connects, and Dolfin.

The Law Society has introduced a Distributed Workforce Model to leverage flexibility and agility, and to maximize employee productivity and engagement. Work arrangements will be determined by role and departmental requirements. The working arrangement for this position has been classified as hybrid, where the employee will regularly flex their work location between home and office.
