OVERVIEW

JOB PURPOSE

 

Provides customer service for the department. Processes daily registrations and orders received through all channels (e.g., phone, mail, fax, chat, and email). Responds to calls and emails to assist customers with navigating the LSO Store and answer questions about CPD programs, products, and requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires completion of a 2-year college program in Customer Service, Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing client services in a high-volume, front-line service department.
  • Customer service best practices.
  • French language is an asset.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite / 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Databases, Moneris, LSO Connects and e-commerce platforms.
  • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Client / Service Delivery

  • Processes registrations and cancellations and transfers.
  • Processes a high volume of transactions each day, paying specific attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensures that order documentation is consistently maintained, filed, and accessible.
  • Answers a high volume of calls and e-mails in a professional, knowledgeable, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Retrieves and responds to e-mail and voice mail messages.
  • Assists with additional customer service tasks upon request from the Customer Service Coordinator.

Team Membership

  • Collaborates with the team to ensure program registrants and customers receive complete timely and accurate information and that requests are addressed professionally and efficiently.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

The Law Society has introduced a Distributed Workforce Model to leverage flexibility and agility, and to maximize employee productivity and engagement. Work arrangements will be determined by role and departmental requirements. The working arrangement for this position has been classified as hybrid, where the employee will regularly flex their work location between home and office.
