JOB PURPOSE
Coordinates all aspects of the payroll function, including three distinct payroll cycles for employees, benchers, and adjudicators, as well as payments under the Law Society’s Parental Leave Assistance Program (PLAP). Ensures accurate processing and analysis of payrolls in compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws, and policies. Administer source deductions and remittances, and prepare accounting entries for payroll transactions and year-end accruals. Reviews bencher expenses for accuracy and compliance with policies.

Work arrangements will be determined by role and departmental requirements. The working arrangement for this position has been classified as hybrid, where the employee will regularly flex their work location between home and office.
